my foray into neuroscience began with studying mice under Prof. Jiamin Wu.
we aimed to design a device using RUSH, Tsinghua's state-of-the-art observation instrument, to simultaneously collect visual stimuli, electrical stimuli, and calcium fluorescent brain images.
however, while we observed activity resembling neural circuit actuation with its rapidly firing neurons on cerebral cortex, drawing generalizable principles about their relationship to the visual stimuli proved elusive.
I am looking forward to any scientific breakthroughs that could possibly explain the principles underlying human mind.
